I always wanted a parent to sit down and walk me through my first listen of a seminal post punk gem. With all of Pitchfork's typical 4 syllable , look that word up you high school level reader, this review seems almost too basic and polite. After reading it I thought for a second maybe I had stumbled across an Other Music review…oops ! So that being said I offer a one slap of the ruler ( out of 5 possible slaps ) to an open palm because come on... this Slits record DOES rule the school and I can't curse the kid out for spreading the word.
